Our choice: technical cookies only
Tricotta uses only the cookies it needs to work, and no third-party cookie. There is no advertising and no tracking, so there is no banner to click: the law does not require consent for strictly necessary cookies, and we do not set any other kind. If we ever introduce optional cookies we will ask first and update this page.
Audience is measured, when enabled, with Plausible on our own server: it sets no cookie and collects no personal data.
Cookies we set

What the browser stores for you (local storage)
Not cookies, never sent to us, readable only by this site in your browser:
- the light/dark theme you picked;
- the profiles (measurements, swatches) you typed in the editor while not signed in — they move to your account the first time you sign in, once;
- the garment you were last working on, so the editor reopens where you left it.
Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it; what you saved in your account is not affected.
How to control cookies
Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time. If you block them all you will not be able to sign in or save, since the session cookie is what keeps you in; the editor still works without an account.
Changes
If the list of cookies changes, or a provider is added, this page is updated and — if consent becomes necessary — we ask for it before setting anything.
